One Direction Sets 'You and I' as Next Single

We are very excited to announce that our new single is 'You and I,'" Harry Styles said alongside his bandmates in a YouTube video posted today. "This one's for you, so I hope you like it."

The band is clearly looking to capitalize on the success of "The Story of My Life," which peaked at No. 6 on the Hot 100 and currently sits at 18. On the acoustic-driven ballad "You and I," One Direction collaborated with songwriters Julian Bunetta, Jamie Scott and John Ryan, the same team behind "The Story of My Life."

For the music video, One Direction is again collaborating with Ben Winston, whom they previously worked with on the videos for "Story of My Life," "Best Song Ever" and the movie "This Is Us."

"You and I" follows "Midnight Memories," "Story of My Life" and "Best Song Ever" as the singles from One Direction's 2013's studio album "Midnight Memories."

The band also has a worldwide tour coming up. The Where We Are stadium trek begins April 25 in Bogota, Colombia and hits the States Aug. 4 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
