Being a member of One Direction is bound to take up practically all of your spare time – but Niall Horan has still got time to be an ‘amazing’ godfather.

The Irish singer has been touring the world since the start of this year with the 1D lads – Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne – and when they’re not on stage they’re working new music, promoting or attending glitzy showbiz awards bashes.

But when Niall was asked to be the godfather of his brother Greg and his wife Denise’s little baby boy Theo, he jumped at the chance.

‘Niall dotes on Theo and sent gifts home for him while on tour,’ a source told The Sun.

‘He surprised his brother Greg and (sister in law) Denise with a beautiful crib for Theo soon after he was born and loves spoiling him.’

Theo, now three months, is being christened on Saturday and Niall is making a special trip back home to Mullingar to be there.
