One Direction use hotel maid as backing singer

One Direction
Very special effects ... One Direction are working on new album

HARRY STYLES makes girls groan wherever he goes.

Now the ONE DIRECTION singer is getting them to express their joy on the band’s new album.
The singer convinced a maid to feature on a new track they were recording in their hotel.
It needed a naughty female bedroom noise so instead of using a sound effect, Harry managed to get the real thing.
Harry said: “We needed a, you know, a groan on one of the songs. So I asked a lady at the hotel to record the ‘Urgghhhhh!’
“She was nervous at first but soon got into the swing of it.”
The lads — Harry, NIALL HORANLOUIS TOMLINSONZAYN MALIK and LIAM PAYNE — were speaking exclusively to Bizarre in Houston, Texas, before the latest gig on their worldwide Take Me Home Tour on Sunday.
One Direction haven’t just been performing in front of millions on the road. They have also been recording their next album.
No big, plush studios have been used either. They had to make do with makeshift set-ups in hotel rooms. Louis said: “We had to do it that way or there’d be no time.
Liam added: “We had a lot of fun doing it like that — just speakers, a mic...
Louis chipped in: “We stuck the mattresses against the walls for the acoustics.”
Zayn added: “It was actually quite chilled but we rinsed the room service.”
Although convenient, they had more than a few interruptions — but not from eager fans. Harry said: “We’d be recording the best vocal ever — you’re thinking, ‘I’m really smashing this!’ — then there’d be a huge knock on the door and you’d get, ‘Room service!’ or ‘Housekeeping!’ We’d be, like, ‘Nooooo!’ and have to start again.”
The band released new single Best Song Ever yesterday and also premiered the video. Eyebrows will have been raised about the title but the lads want people to hear the lyrics before they judge it.
Harry said: “If you hear the name before the song, people are, like, ‘Erghh!’ The title makes people discredit it. But it doesn’t mean what you originally think.”
