The Mullingar native, who took to the stage in New Jersey with One Direction last night, did his best Miley Cyrus impression on Twitter.
The Bangerz singer apparently left a pair of colourful leggings behind, which Niall jokingly tried on and pulled her signature move - sticking his tongue out.
"You left these in New Jersey," he tweeted. "They are comfortable , not gona lie #twerk #tongueout."
And Miley responded in typically irreverent fashion with a simple: f*** yasssss' as a retort.
Meanwhile, bandmate Liam Payne has changed his Twitter bio as a parody account obsessed with Niall - including changing his username to Mrs Horan.
He has since posted a number of photos of him and his pal and tweeted of his undying love.

The One Direction singer was joined by his bandmates, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, but Zayn Malik did not appear to have attended the wedding ceremony in Manchester.

Pregnant woman so excited by One Direction concert she goes into LABOUR

Sarah Turnbull gave birth to a healthy baby called Thomas just hours after leaving the boy band's sold-out Sunderland gig
North News
New mum: Sarah Turnbull gave birth shortly after the concert
There was only One Direction for an expectant mum who went into labour at a 1D gig - and that was to the hospital.
Sarah Turnbull was 39 weeks pregnant when she attended the boy band's concert at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland and she wasn't expecting to give birth for another week.
However as the teen heart throbs started their last song she thought she was having a small accident.
Little did she know that her waters had broken at the start of the concert and her baby boy was enjoying himself so much that he decided to make his entrance into the world.
Sarah finally realised what was going on during the fireworks finale when One Direction’s hit ‘Best Song Ever’ was playing when she popped to the loo.
Six hours later she gave birth to Thomas Setterfield, exactly one week earlier than her due date, in the early hours of May 29 after the gig the night before.
Sarah and her partner Peter, 29, who works in the building industry, even considered naming him Harry after her daughter, seven-year-old Emma’s favourite 1D member Harry Styles, but finally settled on Thomas after Peter’s grandad.
Admin Assistant Sarah said: “I was determined to go to the concert even though I was heavily pregnant. I bought the tickets over a year ago for my little girl’s birthday and I wasn’t even expecting then.
“Emma was desperate to go and when I surprised her she was over the moon as they are her favourite band.
“To be honest, I admit that I quite like One Direction but obviously went because she is obsessed with them.
“I felt fine on the day and even went to see the midwife who told me there was no signs of the baby being ready to come and that everything seemed normal, so I was completely shocked when I realised what was happening.
“My partner can’t stand One Direction but we both actually quite liked the name Harry.
“Eventually we decided it was more sentimental to name him after Pete’s grandad. We could have gave him that as a middle name, but had already decided on Christopher.”
Sarah assumed that the baby was pressing on to her bladder and she had never experienced her waters breaking with her first child so was completely oblivious.
She had no idea that her constant need for the bathroom was the beginning of her six hour labour.
Sarah, from Glebe in Washington, said: “My aim in the pregnancy was to get past seeing One Direction so I feel like I've achieved that even though Thomas cut it very close.
“I keep thinking that he must really like One Direction’s songs and that’s why he came early, he just wanted to be out and to listen to them and party with us.
“The rest of my family seem to disagree and say that Thomas obviously mustn’t have been able to stand the racket any longer!
“I can’t wait to be able to tell Thomas about his dramatic arrival. I’ll definitely be making him listen to all of One Direction’s songs when he is old enough.
“Even if he doesn’t like them, I’m sure his big sister will make sure that he knows all of the songs off by heart!”'

A bit of advice
Pop veteran Robbie Williams has offered under-fire supergroup One Direction some cheeky advice after Louis and Zayn were caught appearing to smoke cannabis on video – “Don’t get caught”.
The singer, 40, gave his “showbiz brothers” the benefit of his experience – and let’s face it, he has plenty of it – ahead of this weekend’s Soccer Aid at Old Trafford.
No stranger to a spot of bother in his own career, Rob said of the lads’ embarrassing video after it emerged online: “I think they should stop getting caught! Drop a shoulder, give them a dummy, but just don’t get caught. I didn’t get caught until I was at least 22 – maybe 23!”
And he wisely suggested that young pop stars, including Justin Bieber, who last weekend caused outrage after he was filmed using the n-word, should stop making home videos. Smart advice that, Rob – although it would be smarter still not to say it in the first place.
US R&B star Usher had more to say to Justin last night – saying he had been naive but “he is unequivocally not a racist”.
Taking the advice?

The 35-year-old, who has been a mentor to the singer, posted his support and a picture online adding he had watched him grow up negotiating “difficult waters”.
Meanwhile Robbie, who is soon to be a dad for the second time with wife Ayda, has been unable to play in today’s Unicef Soccer Aid, which he’s organised every two years since 2006. He explained he has a back injury and is in the middle of a world tour. “I couldn’t walk last night, I had to get a physio to the house. I want to join in but I can’t - the tour will resume the second Soccer Aid finishes and I have to look after myself.”
Instead he has taken on the role of coach, alongside manager Sam Allardyce, and revealed he introduced an unusual team bonding ritual – spooning. Whatever works...
Now that he’s not going to be joining stars such as John Bishop, Olly Murs, Michael Sheen and James McAvoy on the pitch, silky-skilled Rob has revealed he is gutted he won’t be able to “show off” to the crowds. But he said: “I will think of something!” I bet, Rob.
