One Direction release extended This Is Us 3D trailer, get the tissues ready
As millions wait in eager anticipation for this summer's hottest release, One Direction have teased their tell-all documentary by re-releasing another trailer.
There is the moment One Direction’s Zayn Malik reduced his beloved mum to tears after he surprised her with her dream family home. Bless.
The star, 20, splashed out hundreds of thousands of pounds on buying his mum a mansion in his hometown of Bradford.
The tender scenes feature in the latest trailer for the boyband’s 3D movie This Is Us, out this summer.
It sees Zayn’s mum Trisha and two of his three sisters, pick up the keys and explore the plush property, exclaiming, “It’s lovely”.
Trisha tearfully phones Zayn, calling him “sunshine” (cute) and tells him: “I know that you always used to say, ‘I’ll get you a house one day when I’m older’. But thank you for what you’ve done for us. I’m so proud of you.”
To which a choked-up Zayn replies: “Well, get off the phone then before I start crying.”
The preview, which features 1D’s new single, shows the boys grappling with their rise to world stardom. Looking earnestly into the cameras Zayn admits: “We just come from normal working-class families.”
Zayn, who is dating Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, 19, has revealed in the past that he gets homesick and especially misses his mum’s cooking.
He says: “I love samosas filled with mincemeat. My mum makes really great ones.”

Since 1D have raked in almost £100million from sales and endorsements, Zayn and bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, have pocketed around £5million each.
More dosh will be on its way after their 101-date world tour ends this year, followed by a stadium tour next year (maybe they can use that for a holiday).
Zayn is not the first of the band to treat his mum to a crib. Harry, 19, nabbed his mother a house in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.
However, not all popstar ’rents are so accepting – when Oasis’s Gallagher brothers offered to move their mum Peggy out of her Manchester council house, she refused and only let her loaded sons treat her to a new garden gate. Rock ’n’ roll.

But One Direction's Harry Styles and Liam Payne proved that they still have time to do their bit for those in need, launching their new campaign for youth cancer charity Trekstock on Monday.
Showing their mischievous sides, the boys posed for a new photoshoot to promote the fundraising platform Prizeo, larking around together in their usual fun-loving way.

Despite being in the middle of their world tour and working on new material for the next album, Harry and Liam took time out to launch the new Prizeo campaign in a bid to raise money for young people suffering from cancer.
Harry, 19, wore a vintage-style Rolling Stones T-shirt for the shoot, while bandmate Liam sported a white top adorned with blue stars.
And displaying their usual on-stage chemistry, the former X Factor stars joked around with each other, while showing off their Trekstock badges.

The pair can also be seen in a series of behind-the-scenes snaps, showing them getting involved with the campaign as they gear up for the photoshoot.
On Monday Harry wrote on Twitter, 'If you fancy it, you can come and hang out with Liam and I for @trekstock?'
The boys were in Montreal last week as they continued their Take Me Home tour, mobbed by fans as they arrived at their hotel.

Keeping their hoards of admirers sweet, the band donned matching national ice hockey team jerseys as they performed on stage on Thursday.
At the end of the night, the band agreed that Montreal was the loudest crowd they'd met on this tour so far
As part of the fundraising campaign, the boys will jet one lucky participating fan over to London from anywhere in the world to have a night out with them.

one direction recently delighted US fans by adding 30 additional minutes to all American dates on their Take Me Home world tour – are we detecting a hint of favouritism here?
Indeed, with hindsight those loyal fans who paid to see the lads during the UK leg of theirtour appear to have drawn the short straw...could it be that America holds a special place in their hearts? Is route 66 their one true direction?
Well, if recent evidence is anything to go by they've certainly made themselves at home in the states having recently been spotted relaxing in los angeles and Miami as the tour snakes from one seaboard to another.

But such goings on might never have taken place were it not for albums Up All Night and Take Me home – both of which smashed it in the US album chart by reaching number one and turning the band into one of our hottest exports.

A solo track by One Direction's Harry Styles has appeared online.
The singer has recorded new cut 'Don't Let Me Go' on his own, but it is not known whether the track was intended for a solo project or is a demo to be recorded by the boyband.
The track is a slow pop ballad, backed by guitar and piano.
